Hast du 'nen Vogel?

In German, the expression "Hast du einen Vogel?" literally translates as "Do you have a bird?", but it really means "Are you crazy? This photographic work shows elderly people with birds on their heads, visualising how often we are perceived as crazy throughout our lives. Through humorous yet thought-provoking images, the boundary between normality and madness is explored and questioned. Each photograph tells its own story and invites the viewer to reflect on social norms and the definition of madness.
